TIDC 2006 Offers A Chance to Network Locally While Thinking Globally

There are many who would say that engineers, as a rule, are not people-people, they are not very friendly, and have been known to be somewhat anti-social. I think this misconception – and it is a misconception - stems from non-engineers’ discomfort with technology at its most basic level. They reason that someone who can work day-to-day in the hyper-rational world of processors, data converters, algorithms, etc., must not be able to interface with less rational machines – namely human beings. Beyond the Third Wave: Thinking in Terms of Dimensions

Anyone who watched the old Dr. Who show, from our friends at the BBC over the pond, knows that science fiction and quantum theory postulate that there are multiple dimensions in the universe. I’d like to take that theory to some degree and apply it to DSP innovation.
